Over two unforgettable days, discover the dramatic volcanic landscapes of Furnas, the breathtaking crater lakes of Sete Cidades, the untouched nature of Lagoa do Fogo, Europe’s only tea plantations, traditional pineapple greenhouses, waterfalls and some of the most impressive coastal viewpoints in the Azores.
In Furnas, experience a volcanic valley still active today, where steam rises from the ground and local life is shaped by geothermal energy. Here you can also enjoy the famous Furnas Cozido, traditionally slow-cooked underground using volcanic heat.
For a more complete experience, you may choose to visit the Terra Nostra Botanical Garden and Thermal Pool — one of the most iconic gardens in the Azores, with a natural iron-rich thermal pool surrounded by lush vegetation. (Optional visit. Entrance fee not included – €17 per person.)
